The owner and operator of San Francisco’s Poke Bar, Ramiz Bajwa has years of experience in the restaurant field. As the manager of Chutney Restaurant from 2013 to 2015, he handled sales presentations, negotiations, and staff morale issues, and he helped develop and implement the overall strategy of the business. Ramiz Bajwa has brought that experience forward to his role at Poke Bar, where he increased sales by expanding inventory and dealing with a wide variety of other business needs. His work has given him extensive experience in account management, customer relationships, branding, and leadership.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Ramiz Bajwa is a consummate philanthropist, doing his best to serve his community through donations and volunteer positions. He has spent time helping youth in underprivileged communities, and the restaurants he works at have partnered with local food-relief organizations. He also makes time for recreational activities like motocross, camping, and painting, as well as sports and outdoor activities like hiking.
